Abstract Submission Opens OPEN
The abstract submission portal is now open. Abstracts should be 300–500 words in length. Date: September 1, 2026
Abstract Submission Deadline
All abstracts must be submitted through the online portal before this date. No extensions will be granted. Date: December 29, 2026
Author Notification
Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance or rejection by this date. Date: January 29, 2027
Early Bird Registration Deadline SAVE ON FEES
Register early to take advantage of reduced registration fees for both regular and student attendees. End Date: March 1, 2027
Regular Registration Deadline
Standard registration rate applies after the early bird deadline. Start Date: March 2, 2027
Presenters must be registered to appear in the program.
On-Site Registration
Walk-in registration will be available on-site subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.
Journal Special Issue — Submission Deadline BY INVITATION
JIMSS will be collecting papers for a special edition of the journal. Details to be announced. Date: TBD

Technical sessions, poster presentations, and conference banquet dinner. Date: July 28, 2027
ICAST 2027 — Conference Day 3 MARK YOUR CALENDAR
Final technical sessions, awards ceremony, and closing remarks. Announcement of ICAST 2028 host. Date: July 29, 2027
- All deadlines are at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (ET) on the date indicated.
- Abstracts must be submitted via the official online submission portal. Email submissions will not be accepted.
- At least one author of each accepted abstract must register for the conference by the registration deadline. Accepted presentations from unregistered authors will be removed from the program.
- Student poster competition entries must be submitted alongside the abstract. See the Call for Papers for details.
