Organized with the support of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the UT Space Institute, ICAST 2027 will provide an international platform for researchers and engineers to exchange ideas and advance the development of smart and adaptive technologies across mechanical, civil, biomedical, electrical, and aerospace disciplines.

Organizing Institutions
ICAST 2027 is hosted by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with the co-support of the UT Space Institute — two research institutions with deep expertise in aerospace, mechanical engineering, and material science.
University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK)
Founded in 1794, UTK is Tennessee's flagship public research university. Its College of Engineering is home to world-class research programs in mechanical, aerospace, and materials engineering.
UT Space Institute (UTSI)
Located in Tullahoma, Tennessee, the UT Space Institute is a graduate education and research center of UTK specializing in aviation, aerospace, and defense-related science and engineering — making it a natural partner for ICAST's applied research focus.
