It is our pleasure to invite you to the 36th International Conference on Adaptive Structures and Technologies (ICAST 2027), which will be held in person from July 26 – 28, 2027, in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.
ICAST is a series of international conferences dating back to its launch in 1990 as a joint USA–Japan conference held in Maui. For more than three decades, ICAST has been held at various locations across North America, Asia, and Europe, bringing together the world's leading researchers in smart and adaptive structures. ICAST 2027 is the 36th of these successful conferences, aiming to unite researchers exploring a broad range of topics in smart materials, adaptive structural systems, and emerging technologies.
Organized with the support of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the UT Space Institute, ICAST 2027 will provide an international platform for researchers and engineers to exchange ideas and advance the development of smart and adaptive technologies across mechanical, civil, biomedical, electrical, and aerospace disciplines.
